National Rural Accountable Care Consortium (Beaverton, Ore.). A group of rural physicians and hospital administrators established the National Rural Accountable Care Consortium in 2013. These physicians and administrators formed the first National Rural ACO and developed NRACO Services Corp. in 2014. National Rural Accountable Care Consortium received $46 million in ACO investment modeling funding in 2015 and now includes 159 rural health systems organized into 23 Medicare Shared Savings Program ACOs.
