Kansas’ Via Christi Health Given Approval to Proceed With $18M Project

Via Christi Health System, based in Wichita, Kan., has been given the green light to go forward with an $18 million expansion and renovation project at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburgh, Kan., according to a Morning Sun report.

The Crawford County Commission has given approval for a plan to add a new surgical area and new waiting area at the hospital. Part of the funds will also be used to renovate existing surgical suites, according to the report. Hospital officials plan to break ground in April.
