The grants are part of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s School-Based Health Center Capital Program, which was created by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
The PPACA appropriated $200 million to the SBHCC Program. The most recent grants are the third in a series of awards made available to school-based health centers through the PPACA.
