FL’s Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Opens Feeding Difficulties Center

The Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, Fla., has opened an outpatient intensive feeding center, according to a news release.

The center is dedicated to treating children up to age 12 with feeding difficulties brought on by sensory/aversion disorders, swallowing disorders, oral-motor problems and behavior-related food refusal.

 

Patients will be cared for by a multi-disciplinary team that will include gastroenterologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, registered dietitians and clinical social workers.
