The agreement between the two organizations is an expansion of their already existing relationship, as CEP America has been staffing Mercy Medical Center’s emergency department for the last five years.
“Our continued success with CEP America in the emergency department made them the logical choice when we began looking for a physician group to partner with in the inpatient department,” said Kelly Morgan, CEO at Mercy Medical Center, in a news release. “By essentially having one team of physicians — emergency physicians and hospitalists — our patients will continue to receive high-quality care, that is now more integrated during their stay.”
