1. Centura Health to Manage Middle Park Medical Center
Centura Health in Englewood, Colo., and Middle Park Medical Center in Kremmling, Colo., signed a management agreement.

2. Hackensack, LHP Complete $115M Sale-Leaseback of Mountainside Hospital
Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center and LHP Hospital Group in Plano, Texas, sold the land and buildings of their joint venture hospital in Montclair, N.J., in a sale-leaseback transaction.

3. Lawrence General Expands Affiliation With Beth Israel Deaconess
Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital, a 189-bed independent community hospital, expanded its clinical affiliation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

4. Ascension Health, CHE Trinity Health Form Clinically Integrated Network
CHE Trinity Health, based in Livonia, Mich., and St. Louis-based Ascension Health collaborated with physician leaders in Michigan to create a statewide clinically integrated network of healthcare providers.

5. CMS Rejects LSU Hospital Plan
CMS officials have rejected Louisiana's plan that has leased out several Louisiana State University hospitals to private operators.

6. Eastern Connecticut Health Turned Down 3 Nonprofits Before Choosing Tenet
Eastern Connecticut Health Network, a two-hospital system based in Manchester, previously considered mergers with three other nonprofit health systems before officials ultimately went with the for-profit Tenet Healthcare Corp.
