Atrius Health (Newton, Mass.). Atrius Health spent five years in the Pioneer ACO Model before transitioning to the Next Generation ACO Model in 2017. Under the Pioneer ACO Model, Atrius reinvested 100 percent of the shared savings into the program and plans to do the same for performance year 2017. During the 2015 performance year, Atrius Health saved Medicare $6.8 million and returned $4.4 million to ACO providers, which covers 25,000 Medicare beneficiaries.
