Nashville, Tenn.-based Ascension Saint Thomas and Unity Medical Center, a 49-bed independent hospital in Manchester, Tenn., have formed a partnership to expand access to care.
The strategic alliance aims to improve outcomes and expand specialty services at Unity Medical Center, according to a June 19 joint news release shared with Becker’s. Support from Ascension Saint Thomas will include new technology and greater access to telemedicine.
Patients will have expanded access to specialties including women’s health, cardiology and neurosciences.
Ascension Saint Thomas comprises 18 hospitals and 320 sites of care.
