Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut to Construct Addition Despite Opposition

Norwalk (Conn.) Hospital plans to build a 95,500-square-foot addition this fall, according to a report by The Hour.

The facility would include a new emergency department, an outpatient pavilion and a landing space for the hospital’s helipad.

County commissioners approved the project despite opposition from some community members who live near the planed site of construction and are concerned about the noise, construction hours and traffic.
