The Encompass unit replaces Sacred Heart’s 24-bed rehabilitation unit that opened in 1978. The joint-venture facility will provide care to patients recovering from debilitating illnesses, strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions, according to a March 10 Encompass news release.
The unit is Encompass’ first location in Wisconsin.
