UnityPoint will begin a $38.4 million, 65,000-square-foot expansion of its South Campus hospital in Marshalltown next spring. When that expansion is completed, the North Campus hospital will close.
The provider said it does not plan to close or scale back any services in “the foreseeable future.”
“Now more than ever, we need the support of our community to keep healthcare local in Marshalltown — from laboratory testing, to physical therapy to urgent care,” the company said.
