The facility is a physician’s office setting, where Heather Amos, DO, sees patients for well visits, physicals, and minor illnesses, according to the medical group. Dr. Amos is a board-certified osteopathic family medicine physician.
TGMG Apollo Beach does not offer X-rays or urgent care. However, medical group officials said TGMG is building the Brandon Healthplex near by TGMG Apollo Beach. That facility, they said, will have even more comprehensive services, and is scheduled to open in February.
“Our vision is to be out in the communities more for the convenience of the patient, so they don’t have to travel and maneuver through our large, main hospital on Davis Islands for all their healthcare needs,” they said.
