Redwood Area Hospital plans remodeling and expansion project: 4 things to know

Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls, Minn., is looking for funds to launch a proposed remodeling and expansion project, according to a Crookston Times report.

Here are four things to know.

1. The proposed project would likely involve developing one main entrance for the entire facility, the hospital’s CEO, Bryan Lydick, said, according to the report.

2. Rehab services could also be added to with the proposed project, the Crookston Times reports.

3. The hospital is trying to secure $32 million in Department of Agriculture funding for the project, Mr. Lydick said in the report. The total project cost is estimated at approximately $39 million.

4. However, the total estimated cost does not include approximately $10 million to pay off the previous remodeling project debt, according to the report.
