Grady Memorial Hospital, part of Atlanta-based Grady Health System, is waiting on a certificate-of-need application response for a planned $46 million project that includes upgrades to its Walter L. Ingram Burn Center.

Dayton (Ohio) Children's Hospital is aiming to begin construction this summer on a project to house 26 kinship families, The Dayton Business Journal reported Jan. 25. 

Easton-based University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, part of Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System, has received approval from the Maryland Health Care Commission for its $539.5 million Regional Medical Center in Easton.

San Antonio-based University Health broke ground Jan. 18 on its University Health Palo Alto Hospital, the first of two community hospitals planned in a $900 million project.
