San Antonio-based University Health broke ground on a $450 million community hospital Feb. 21, marking its second new hospital project since the start of 2024. 

Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus Health is investing $30 million into Laurium, Mich.-based Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital as part of a renovation and expansion project.

Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children's Hospital has received $40 million from the DeVos Family Foundation — a gift that will support an expansion of the hospital's pediatric ICU and advance care at its new inpatient psychiatric unit.

Marietta, Ga.-based Wellstar Health System is planning a $304 million, eight-story tower at Hiram, Ga.-based Paulding Medical Center, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported Feb. 13.
