Montana hospital expands newborn intensive care unit

Billings, Mont.-based St. Vincent Healthcare unveiled its new pediatric intensive care unit, expanding the unit from one room with five beds to five separate rooms, according to KTVH, a local NBC affiliate.

In addition to private rooms, the unit is  wired for telemedicine consultations with physicians and specialists at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The renovation cost $3.2 million.
