The donation will help establish a pediatric care center and research hub at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital that is focused on improving children’s health, according to the health system’s website.
Mattel has donated more than $80 million to UCLA over the last two decades in support of the university and health system. The latest gift is the largest ever made to UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, which is updating its name and logo to better reflect the company’s support.
