The children’s hospital, which will have 17 exam rooms, will be in the main hospital and cost $7 million to build. It’s expected to open next March.
The medical center has several other expansions underway, including a $32 million addition to the Heart and Vascular Institute and a $7 million expansion of its pathology lab, according to the report.
The hospital said it plans to hire about 200 new workers to handle the expansion.
