Indiana hospital to offer health services at proposed sports tourism complex

The city of Columbus, Ind., and Columbus Regional Health purchased the former FairOaks Mall in 2018, and are now seeking design proposals to turn the property into a year-round sports tourism complex, according to The Republic.

Columbus (Ind.) Regional Hospital will provide health and wellness activities at the complex, which will also include parks and recreation facilities and an indoor sports field.

The FairOaks Community Development Corporation plans to decide which design firm will be hired by late April.
