The four-story, 182,000-square-foot hospital houses 88 patient rooms, an emergency department and an intensive care unit.

The new hospital is next to Idaho Falls-based Mountain View Hospital, which will remain a separate organization.

The community hospital was built after a public outcry for more choices in emergency and inpatient care in the community.
