The Centers for Clinical Advancement aim to provide nursing education and work experience through practice-based instruction and simulation.
The healthcare giant purchased Louisville, Ky.-based Galen College of Nursing in 2020. The new investment will fund the college’s expansion, according to a May 8 HCA news release.
“Expanding our clinical education agenda, including HCA Healthcare’s Centers for Clinical Advancement nationwide is a large part of our overall nursing strategy,” Sammie Mosier, BSN, RN, chief nurse executive of HCA Healthcare, said in the release. “Providing a safe and realistic learning environment for our nurses promotes clinical skill readiness and development.”
