The $9.5 million project would result in a 1,715-square-foot addition to the campus and additional renovations, the report said.The new area would house enhanced cancer care technology.
The Johnston-Willis expansion comes at a time when HCA continues to seek approval for a new 60-bed $233 million hospital in Hanover County, part of Greater Richmond. A final ruling on that project is expected in October.
HCA currently operates 14 locations in Virginia.
