The project calls for a 39,000-square-foot expansion that includes a new ambulance garage, medical surgical unit, community clinic, rooftop helicopter pad and maintenance garage, according to the report.
Plans also call for making more parking spaces and updating the hospital’s emergency room and main entrances.
Trees and shrubs were also added to the hospital’s landscape plans to ease privacy concerns from residents living near the facility.
The project, planned to start in the spring, will cost about $20 million.
