Glenn A. Kiser, MD, who graduated from Duke’s medical school in 1941, donated the gift. Dr. Kiser is known for his advocacy for improved testing of children’s medicines and raising awareness of the effects of household chemicals on children’s health. His is the single largest donation ever made to the school’s Department of Pediatrics.
