Colorado hospital begins $76.5M in renovations

Fort Collins, Colo.-based UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital broke ground on its two-year, $76.5 million renovation, the Coloradoan reported Oct. 21.

The renovations include a cardiac care area and improved surgical, imaging, gastroenterology and pulmonary areas. The cardiac care section will have a new heart and vascular care clinic and testing area.

There will also be a new lobby, front entrance and improvements to some of its floors.

The hospital expects construction to be completed in 2023, according to the report.
