The agreement will allow El Camino to gain access to the Los Gatos location on Apr. 11 instead of June 1 and will allow El Camino to open the hospital in mid-July, sooner than previously expected.
In addition to the land and buildings, El Camino acquired more than 6,600 pieces of medical equipment in the deal, according to the release.
The Los Gatos location will offer acute care, orthopedics and spine services when it reopens.
