The two health systems have submitted plans to the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration to build new hospitals.
Adventist Health System’s hospital campus would be built in Winter Garden and feature up to 100 beds, according to the report. This likely would expand on the newly opened Florida Hospital Winter Garden, a $65 million, three-story emergency and outpatient center.
Central Florida Health Services, an entity related to HCA, also plans to build a new hospital with up to 100 beds in Orange County, the Orlando Business Journal reports. A specific location has not been disclosed.
