The Health Pavilion – Stone Oak will be a three-story facility that will provide pediatric services, family practice group services and office space for Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine physicians, according to the report.
The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Emergency Center – Stone Oak will be located on the first floor of the building, and will include a fully dedicated pediatric emergency room. The facility will also serve as a KidSTOP location, a healthcare service launched by The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio in 2009 to provide young patients and anxiety-free place to having testing and outpatient procedures done, according to the report.
The new pavilion is expected to be completed next summer.
