The expansion — which includes plans for a four-story patient facility with 96 private rooms — is the biggest the Delray Medical Center will have undergone since it opened in 1982. The expanded facility will have a cardiovascular clinic, endoscopy suites, a parking garage and a helipad with direct access to an emergency department elevator.
The expansion is slated to open by early 2017.
