Netflix's $150B market value now tops Comcast

Netflix's market value surpassed Comcast's on May 23, climbing to $150 billion, according to Recode.

Comcast has seen a decline in video subscribers as more Americans opt for streaming services like Netflix. The United States' largest cable company saw TV subscribers fall to 22.3 million in the first quarter of 2018, down from 22.6 million during the first quarter of 2017.

At the same time, Netflix added 7 million-plus subscribers in its first quarter of 2018, most of which reflected the streaming company's international expansion.
