White House unveils new website to showcase AI initiatives

The White House launched a website to detail the federal government's initiatives and progress on artificial intelligence developments.

The website highlights President Donald Trump's Feb. 11 executive order, titled Accelerating America's Leadership in Artificial Intelligence. The order directs federal agencies to increase AI research and share government data with third-party technology developers.

The order is centered on the following AI pillars: exploring ethical concerns, displacement of human workers, instituting training programs and the lack of regulations on the technology. The website comprises five main sections, which highlight the order and its main pillars:

1. Executive Order on AI
2. AI for American Innovation
3. AI for American Industry
4. AI for the American Worker
5. AI with American Values
