The new ACO is set to launch May 1. Under the agreement, Arizona Care Network and its affiliated physicians will provide coordinated care to nearly 15,000 Phoenix-area members of UnitedHealthcare’s employer-sponsored health plans.
“We look forward to working with Arizona Care Network to bring this distinctive care model that improves quality and reduces costs to UnitedHealthcare plan participants in Phoenix,” said Beth Soberg, president and CEO of UnitedHealthcare of Arizona, in the news release.
