The ACO will launch on January 1, 2016. To date, 22 physicians have enrolled.

Delaware Care Collaboration will become the second physician-led statewide ACO in Delaware. The first is MedNet’s Highmark Quality Blue ACO commercial program.

“The goal is for patients, especially those who are chronically ill, to get the right care at the right time, while avoiding duplicated services and preventing medical errors,” said Michael Bradley, family medicine physician in Dover, Del., and president of MedNet of Delaware. “This partnership will improve outcomes and the overall patient experience.”
