Anthem BCBS partners with IU Health Goshen’s ACO

Health insurer Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield has contracted with Indiana University Health Goshen’s accountable care organization to help improve quality of care and reduce healthcare costs for approximately 9,000 Anthem members.

Under the agreement, both organizations will collect and analyze quality, cost and utilization data to help enable them to provide high-quality care, while cutting costs.

“It has always been the mission of IU Health Goshen to improve the health of our community, and this new partnership and coordination with Anthem is an excellent way to bring these additional services to patients in our region, said Randy Christophel, president and CEO of IU Health Goshen.
