Ozarks Medical Center appoints Pamela Lee as COO

Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Mo., tapped Pamela Lee, RN, to serve as COO. She most recently worked at United Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where she was executive vice president of hospital operations and chief quality officer.

Ms. Lee has also previously worked for The Joint Commission and served as a U.S. Malcom Baldrige Quality Award Examiner. She holds a master’s degree in business administration and a master of science degree in nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

“I’m really looking forward to working with OMC staff and the community to proactively meet and manage the health needs of our patient population across the care continuum. I truly believe the OMC system and all of its partners have the potential to positively impact patient and resident lives in a high quality, safe, fiscally responsible and satisfying way. A single individual cannot do it alone,” said Ms. Lee in a statement.
