Inofile’s document exchange platform achieves ONC certification

As of July 7, Inofile’s Kno2 clinical document exchange platform has achieved ONC Health IT 2014 Certification. This certification guarantees that Kno2 is capable of offering the functionality that enables eligible providers to meet both Stage 1 and 2 meaningful use requirements.

Organizations meeting those requirements are eligible for CMS incentive payments under the EHR adoption program. In order to achieve the certification, Kno2 was required to meet HHS criteria. Inofile attributed the certification in part to their early adoption of direct messaging standards.
