Baptist Memorial BestHealth taps inaugural medical, wellness chiefs

Memphis, Tenn.-based Baptist Memorial Health Care’s BestHealth Employee Well-being Program named inaugural chief medical and well-being officers.

Lia Lansky was named chief well-being officer, and will oversee the strategic design and administration of comprehensive well-being for the system and its medical group, according to a June 26 system news release. She has served as the system director of well-being for Baptist Memorial Health Care for seven years.

Jake Lancaster, MD, was named chief medical officer. He will continue to serve as CMO for Baptist Medical Group and chief medical information officer for Baptist Memorial Health Care.

BestHealth is a wellness program to support the system’s team members. It helps employees take control of their health and well-being through  tools and personal counseling.
