Executives said a major factor behind the big revenue totals was the Kansas City Cancer Center. The University of Kansas Hospital and KCCC just completed their first full year as a merged entity.
The hospital also recorded total capital expenditures of $117.1 million in 2012, which officials said led to more jobs and increased investment in the surrounding community.
