Availity hires former McKesson executive as SVP of corporate development

Availity, a health information network, appointed Paul Quiner senior vice president of corporate development.

Previously, Mr. Quiner served as senior vice president of corporate strategy and business development at McKesson Corp. Equipped with 20-plus years of corporate development and leadership experience in healthcare companies, he has also served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Per-Se Technologies, a public healthcare services and technology company.

Mr. Quiner earned a juris doctor degree from Laramie-based University of Wyoming.

Availity offers a healthcare engagement platform for synthesizing and sharing health information. Its clients include 1.2 million providers and a network of national and regional health plans.
