The company attributes its success to acquisitions and net contract growth, which was the largest component of consolidated revenue growth, according to TeamHealth CEO Greg Roth. During the second quarter, the company completed a comprehensive refinancing of outstanding debt.

Acquisitions contributed to 4.3 percent of the growth in revenue less provisions while new contracts contributed to 5.1 percent of the growth. Reported net earnings were $18.2 million, slightly less than the $18.6 million reported in the second quarter of 2010.
