Dennis Burke. President and CEO of Good Shepherd Health Care System (Hermiston, Ore.). Good Shepherd Health Care System includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, medical group and home health services. Under Mr. Burke’s leadership, The Oregonian named Good Shepherd to its 2012 list of Top Workplaces in Oregon and Southwestern Washington. iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health recognized Good Shepherd in 2015 for overall excellence in patient outcomes and financial strength. Mr. Burke is the American Hospital Association’s small and rural governing council alternate member through 2018. The hospital is roughly 200 miles east of Portland, Ore.
