Katherine Bunting, PhD, RN, MSN. CEO of Fairfield (Ill.) Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining Fairfield Memorial Hospital in 1998, Dr. Bunting spent nearly 20 years in a variety of roles at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Ill. She has served as a member of many committees and boards, including the Rotary Club, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Sorority, the Illinois Long-Term Care Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is a past president of the Illinois Hospital Association Region 5 and is president-elect of the IHA Steering Committee. Dr. Bunting also serves on the Champaign-based University of Illinois Medical School Admissions Board.
