Ridgeview Medical Center (Waconia, Minn.). In 2015, Ridgeview Medical Center was named a Practice Greenhealth Top 25 Environmental Excellence Award honoree for the second consecutive year. The medical center also received Circle of Excellence Awards for its efforts in waste reduction, greening the OR, environmentally preferable purchasing and water conservation. In addition to participating in all six HHI Challenges, the medical center recycles at least 25 percent of its total waste, works to eliminate mercury in its facility and equipment and has implemented numerous pollution prevention programs.
