Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (Park Ridge, Ill.). The patient tower at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital was awarded LEED Gold certification by the USGBC in 2010, making it the first hospital in the Midwest to earn this level of LEED recognition. Similar to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center’s Center for Advanced Care, the Lutheran General patient tower features a rooftop garden.
