Mark Graber, MD. Senior Fellow in the Healthcare Quality and Outcomes Program for RTI International. Dr. Graber is the senior fellow in the Healthcare Quality and Outcomes Program for RTI International and serves as president of the Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine, which he founded in 2011. He launched Patient Safety Awareness week in 2003 — now held annually as an internationally recognized event — and founded the journal Diagnostics in 2014. Dr. Graber has authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications, and the National Patient Safety Foundation and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality have funded his research on reducing diagnostic errors.
