Joan Silver. Vice President of Organizational Quality and Performance Improvement at PinnacleHealth (Harrisburg, Pa.). Ms. Silver has been with PinnacleHealth since 1984. In her current role she is in charge of developing strategic direction, philosophy, planning and programming for organizational quality and safety. Under her leadership, the system has been certified by The Joint Commission in advanced stroke, knee and hip surgery, spine surgery, stroke rehabilitation advanced heart failure and advanced inpatient diabetes. In 2014, the Joint Commission named PinnacleHealth a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures in heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care, venous thromboembolism and perinatal care.
