Elizabeth A. Mort, MD. Senior Vice President for Quality and Safety and Chief Quality Officer of Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston). Prior to joining Massachusetts General, Dr. Mort served on the American Hospital Association’s panel on healthcare-acquired conditions, was a member of the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s Women’s Health Management Advisory Panel and the National Quality Foundation Steering Committee for Additional Priorities for Acute Hospital Quality Measures. She holds board certification in internal medicine and is nationally known for her work in quality measurement and improvement. Dr.  Mort is an assistant professor in the departments of medicine and healthcare policy at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
