Robert K. Stoelting, MD. President of the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation.
Dr. Stoelting became the full-time president of the PAPSF in 2003 after a long career in academic medicine. He joined the faculty of the Department of Anesthesia at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1970 and became professor and chair of the department in 1997. PAPSF is an organization devoted to research, education and idea exchanges surrounding patient safety during anesthesia care.
