Richard Lofgren, MD. President and CEO of UC Health (Cincinnati). Dr. Lofgren became CEO of UC Health in December 2013 after spending 35 years in prior healthcare leadership positions. He oversees the health system’s academic medical center, the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, which re-launched its heart transplant program in 2016. Prior to joining UC Health, Mr. Lofgren spent time as senior vice president and chief clinical officer for Chicago-based University HealthSystem Consortium. He also had a storied tenure at Lexington, Ky.-based UK Healthcare, where he increased revenues from $345 million to $705 million in five years. He is an American College of Physicians fellow.
