Maria Ryan, PhD. CEO of Cottage Hospital (Woodsville, N.H.). Dr. Ryan has been CEO of Cottage Hospital since 2006, leading the organization through successful Meaningful Use Stage 2 attestation in the first qualifying period. Dr. Ryan oversees the 35-bed critical access hospital’s staff of 300 employees and 35 medical providers. During her tenure, the hospital received the Top 20 Best Quality designation from the National Rural Health Association in 2014. In addition to her leadership responsibilities with Cottage Hospital, she serves as vice chair of the New Hampshire Rural Health Coalition and a board of trustee member for the New Hampshire Hospital Association. She is also a member of the Regional Policy Board of the American Hospital Association.
